The Woodlands Township will host Patriot Day of Remembrance on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 7:30 to 8 a.m., at Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogan’s Mill Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380. The community is invited to attend the ceremony honoring the brave men and women who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Shiver Me Timbers! Ariel is set to make a splash at the upcoming Pirate ‘n Mermaid Day at The Woodlands Children’s Museum!
Mermaids, scalawags, and pirates are invited to celebrate on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:00am until 2:00pm. During the event, young buccaneers can explore the museum with a treasure map and be on the lookout for hidden treasures. The museum’s exhibits will be open for play, including The Muse art bar where children can create a unique pirate hat or mermaid mask. In the Light Lab, children can use a variety of translucent sea shells to sort, match and identify colors and shapes.
National Youth Theater (NYT) announces their upcoming production of Finding Nemo Jr., a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo Jr. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
