Children of all ages are invited to The Woodlands Township’s annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands, TX 77389. This free, all-ages-friendly event offers the community an opportunity to touch, climb and interact with trucks and vehicles, play in a kid-friendly construction zone featuring a giant sandbox, enjoy our kidzone activities and visit multiple vendors for crafts and games.

For more than 20 years, Market Street’s Change for Charity program has given back to the local Montgomery County community. In 2026, thousands of dollars generated through Market Street’s metered parking program will benefit Community Assistance Center during the 1st quarter, The Woodlands Children’s Museum during the 2nd quarter, and Keep Us Fed Montgomery County during the 3rd quarter. During the 4th quarter, Market Street will support local public schools by donating to the school that wins The Sing-Off, scheduled for December 2026.

The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) presents “Quietly Made,” a collective exhibition featuring the work of three women artists, Jennifer Claussen, Jodi Walsh, and Brenda J. Bunten-Schloesser, on view from February 10 through April 30, 2026, at TWAC’s exhibition space. This exhibition marks the Council’s first collective presentation, bringing together multiple artists whose practices are rooted in slowness, care, and close attention to materials.
