The Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas event will bring significant traffic impacts across The Woodlands area on Saturday, April 18. Multiple major roadways will have lane reductions, closures and detours throughout the day, beginning as early as 5 a.m. and lasting into the evening.

The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, produced by The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC), concluded its 21st edition with strong community support, as patrons turned out throughout the weekend despite a rainy forecast. Prepared for the weather, attendees showed up ready to engage, continuing to support artists and reinforcing the festival’s role as a cherished community tradition.

Rescues on the Runway, a fashion-forward fundraising event benefiting Woodlands-based nonprofit Operation Pets Alive (OPA), took place Thursday evening, April 2, at The Peach Orchard in The Woodlands. The event brought together Houston-area supporters, local sponsors, and adoptable rescue dogs for an unforgettable evening blending vintage glam, philanthropy, and purpose.

Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood and Crab, one of The Woodlands’ premier destinations for fresh seafood and impeccable service, will begin a renovation this spring as it celebrates ten years in the community. The transformation will include a major facelift of the main dining room, expansive bar area, and private dining accommodations. Truluck’s is located on Hughes Landing Blvd., a premier 79-acre waterfront district along Lake Woodlands.

They’re baaaaaaaack! The notorious Herdman children from The Best Christmas Pageant ever are back at Main Street Theater in The Best School Year Ever, based on the book, also by Barbara Robinson. The show is recommended for Third Grade and older.

The museum is excited to announce that its annual Eggtivities event will take place on Friday, April 3rd from 9:30am to 3:00pm and Saturday, April 4th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This two-day celebration invites families to explore the museum’s educational exhibits while participating in a variety of "eggs-traordinary" art projects.
