Grab your cowboy hat and get ready to lick because OddFellows Ice Cream has arrived in Texas! Acclaimed ice cream shop, OddFellows Ice Cream Co., is opening their first franchise location in The Woodlands on Thursday, November 21, 2024 with $3 single scoops all day. Located at 1900 Lake Woodlands Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380, OddFellows is a new, exciting spot where creativity and flavor collide. Franchisee owners, Bryce Gipson and Valerie Golson saw an opportunity to bring this unique, whimsical world of ice cream to The Woodlands. This shop will have more than just ice cream scoops. In addition to ice cream, guests can enjoy a selection of sorbets, vegan ice creams, soft serve, juice pops, espresso, and more with a fun and retro atmosphere.

YMCA Run Thru The Woods is almost here! This festive race has been one of the premier running and walking family events in Texas for 35 years. The event takes  Thanksgiving Morning, November 28, 2024, at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands Town Center. Designed for the whole family to participate, categories and start times include a competitive one-mile Children’s Race for ages 12 and younger starting at 7:30 a.m.; a five-mile race at 8:15 a.m.; and a three-mile race and three-mile walk starting at 8:25 a.m. Feel free to wear your favorite Thanksgiving costume! Strollers are welcomed, but please leave your pets at home.

You're invited to join The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and Conroe Independent School District as they kick off the holiday season at Holly Jolly Jingle Thursday, December 5th at 7 p.m. The festive evening will feature a musical celebration of the season by local student performers and fun winter activities for all ages. Tickets are not required for this free event which is sponsored by KPMG. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Half Baked Goodness, a cookie store known for its thick, gooey treats, will be the first new tenant announced for Grogan’s Mill Village Center, joining established businesses including Brother's Pizza, Ome Calli Café, Safeway Driving, The UPS Store, Woodforest National Bank, Brite Touch Cleaners (The Woodlands Cleaners), 4H Tailor and The Woodlands Farmer’s Market, which is held every Saturday morning. Grogan’s Mill Village Center is undergoing a transformative redevelopment, creating a modern community hub anchored by a Library and Community Center.
