National Youth Theater (NYT) announces its upcoming production of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical, a hilarious and heartfelt stage adaptation of Jeff Kinney’s best-selling book series.
Middle school has never been tougher — or funnier — as Greg Heffley navigates friendships, family, and the daily struggles of growing up. Brought to life with catchy songs, laugh-out-loud moments, and plenty of heart, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical captures the ups and downs of being an “average” kid trying to survive middle school and leave his mark on the world.
Perfect for audiences of all ages, this high-energy musical celebrates individuality, perseverance, and the importance of staying true to yourself — even when things don’t go exactly as planned.
The talented cast, comprised of performers ages 8–19, will present the show March 20-22 at the Lone Star College Tomball Performing Arts Center, 30555 Tomball Parkway, 77375. The production is directed by Abigail Baker, with assistant director David Horn, vocal director Nikki Gould, and choreographer Kayleigh Collier.
