But mamas, I want to remind you that the library has a whole other side, and it’s actually kind of amazing. From crafting and game nights to learning something totally new (hello, podcast studio!), these upcoming events are a fun excuse to get out of the house and do something just for you.

Podcast Studio Orientation
Ready to get mic’ up? If starting a podcast is one of those back-burner ideas on your bucket list, here’s an event to turn your aspiration into actuality! Come be informed about how to record effectively on professional equipment. After this orientation, you’ll be able to reserve sessions in the Brady Library’s FREE Podcast Studio!

Sourdough Starter Workshop
This event is in May, but it's a popular one, and you'll need to sign up beginning May 1, so I made a place for it on this list so it'll be on your radar. You'll learn to create your own sourdough starter from scratch. You'll explore the art of fermentation and go home with your own living culture, ready to grow into beautiful, artisan loaves.
