National Youth Theater (NYT) is thrilled to announce its upcoming spring production of Roald Dahl’s Matilda, The Musical.

Matilda, The Musical celebrates childhood chaos and the power of imagination. The story focuses on Matilda, a bright girl with extraordinary intelligence and psychokinetic powers. Despite neglect from her unkind parents, she finds warmth and support from her compassionate teacher, Miss Honey. Matilda faces challenges at school, especially from the cruel headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who relishes punishing students. However, Matilda’s bravery and cleverness make her a hero to her classmates. With Miss Honey’s support, Matilda’s unique abilities may help them overcome difficult situations and create a brighter future.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum is delighted to announce a new partnership with The Woodlands Methodist School, who will provide ongoing support for the popular Scoop and Shovel Dig Pit Exhibit that is featured at the museum.  The Dig Pit is enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year and provides children with a wide variety of learning experiences.

Market Street’s Change for Charity program will benefit Montgomery County charities in 2025. The thousands of dollars in change inserted in Market Street’s premium parking meters throughout the year will benefit The Woodlands Kiwanis Club, New Danville, and Mosaics of Mercy. During the 4^th quarter, Market Street will support local public schools by donating to the school that wins The Sing-Off, scheduled for December 2025.
