Registration is now open for the 20th Annual YMCA Kids Triathlon to be held on Saturday, July 15, 7:30am at the Branch Crossing YMCA location. Children ages 6-13 are able to register and experience the fun and excitement of a triathlon. It will be a morning of friendly competition and physical activity that can lead to a lifetime of wellness. The event is designed for all levels, especially for the 1st Timers. Previous triathlon experience is not required.

On June 14, get all shook up as the Houston Symphony performs Symphonic Tribute to Elvis in a rollicking retrospective for the ages on The Pavilion Main Stage, sponsored by Huntsman! Symphonic Tribute to Elvis features internationally recognized and award-winning Tribute Artist, Patrick Dunn, and showcases the Houston Symphony orchestra conducted by the show’s producer, Dr. Bryan English. Gates will open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. performance. Mezzanine and lawn seating are FREE. Reserved orchestra seats are available for $25 per ticket.

Memorial Day in The Woodlands pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving in the United States military. Keynote speaker Colonel James B. Raney – United States Army (Retired) will be featured along with the Our Community Salutes swearing-in ceremony. Our Community Salutes recognizes, honors and supports local high school seniors who plan to enlist into the U.S. Armed Services after graduation. The event will feature live music by Rapture (Variety) and will conclude with a fireworks display, presented by Woodforest National Bank, weather permitting.
