It's TADA's 10th Anniversary Performance of The Nutcracker! Mark your calendar and bring the whole family to enjoy this annual Christmas classic filled with magic, mystery, and a dash of humor, plus enjoy a lovely holiday market happening in the lobby of every show, with visits from Santa! Performances will be Dec 7 & 8 at 1:30pm and 5:00 pm both days at the College Park High School Theater.
The Nutcracker is a stunning, storytelling ballet centered on the E.T.A. Hoffmann original 1816 writing about a young girl named Clara who receives a wooden Nutcracker that comes to life as a prince on Christmas Eve. The adventure unfolds with an array of magical creatures including the Mouse Queen, Snow Queen, and of course the Sugar Plum Fairy as Clara is transported in a beautiful winter sleigh through the Land of Snow to her golden throne in the Land of Sweets.
"This season's Nutcracker will be the most memorable yet," says TADA's Ballet Director Amy Leonards. "Our dancers, faculty, and families have been working so hard to make our 10th Anniversary performances extra special, and we have so many exciting things in store!"
The performances feature TADA's Youth Ballet Company, a talented cast of pre-professional ballet dancers ranging in age from 7-18, along with guest artists and members of the studio's wider ballet program.

"It has been a truly remarkable journey to watch this production grow and evolve over the past decade. Seeing our dancers, families, and faculty come together to uphold this cherished holiday tradition is nothing short of inspiring. Our faculty’s commitment to nurturing and challenging our performers has made each production more extraordinary than the last."
