Get your ducks in a row and migrate to The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Friday, June 9, 2023 to celebrate Donald Duck, a beloved character who has appeared in over 200 Disney movies. Guests can join in singing “Happy Birthday” while posing for photos at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm.
Donald Duck made his screen debut on June 9, 1934 in a short film called “The Wise Little Hen.” Through the years, Donald has been adored by multiple generations for his good heart, funny spirit and his desire to make the world a better place by never giving up. Donald Duck has appeared in more films than any other Disney character, has won an Oscar, and has his own Hollywood Star.
After taking your own photos with Donald, waddle over to the Muse Art Bar, where children will have the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind Duck Hat to color, cut and assemble with the help of one of our generous volunteers.
Don’t duck out before visiting our waterplay area, which will be filled with floating ducks.
“Waterplay is a great sensory stimulator for our young guests and by adding in rubber ducks it offers a wonderful opportunity for cause and effect thinking,” stated Angela Colton, the museum’s Executive Director.
