Town Center Trolleys Expand Service to Hughes Landing

altThe Woodlands Township has expanded the Town Center Trolley to include service to Hughes Landing, beginning immediately. Residents and visitors can now park once and hop aboard the trolley at stops located on Hughes Landing Boulevard.

The free trolleys provide transit to popular retail, entertainment and office locations along the 4.1-mile route connecting The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, Town Center, The Woodlands Waterway and Hughes Landing. Stops are conveniently located near retail and business locations, making travel seamless and efficient for residents and visitors when shopping, moving about during the work day or enjoying the many restaurants, concerts and activities in The Woodlands.

Easter Seals Offers Early Childhood Intervention Program

altMy younger son was a late walker, and as a new mom I was in a panic. Thanks to advice from friends and our pediatrician, I had my son evaluated for free by Easter Seals' Early Childhood Intervention program. Early intervention services help young children with disabilities and developmental delays achieve their goals in cognitive, social/emotional, communicative, adaptive and physical development. If your child isn't meeting developmental milestones like babbling, crawling, feeding, talking and walking by certain ages, they may qualify for extra help. 

Bike The Woodlands Month Kicks Off in May With Activities and Workshops

altThe Woodlands Township will host a number of activities throughout the month of May in celebration of National Bike Month, in efforts to create a better community through bicycling.

There are numerous events planned throughout the month of May for riders of all types. Bike to Work Day will take place on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive. Bike commuters are invited to meet for refreshments and bike commuting information.
