My younger son was a late walker, and as a new mom I was in a panic. Thanks to advice from friends and our pediatrician, I had my son evaluated for free by Easter Seals' Early Childhood Intervention program. Early intervention services help young children with disabilities and developmental delays achieve their goals in cognitive, social/emotional, communicative, adaptive and physical development. If your child isn't meeting developmental milestones like babbling, crawling, feeding, talking and walking by certain ages, they may qualify for extra help.

Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is an annual event founded on the belief that for every person out there, there's a comic book that they'll love. Every first Saturday in May, the industry comes together to give away free comics and encourage fans, both old and new, to flock to the best place in the comic book community: local comic shops. These are the hubs of the comic community, where fans can come together and discover new comics, make lifelong friends, and find a sense of commonality. Free Comic Book Day 2019 features an amazing selection of comic book titles for the industry's most anticipated annual event which happens Saturday, May 4th, at participating comic book shops worldwide.

The only one in the Houston area, The Woodlands Prep International School, is located in a beautifully forested area of Creekside Park in The Woodlands. If you're interested to learn more about an IB education at Woodlands Prep, they are hosting an Open House this April 18, 19 and 20.
At the center of international education in the IB program are students aged 3 to 19 with their own learning styles, strengths, and challenges. Students of all ages come to school with combinations of unique and shared patterns of values, knowledge and experience of the world and their place in it.
