Kidventure makes its way to The Woodlands area with Camp St. Edward!

There is something magical about camp. That opportunity to share adventures with new friends, explore the world in unique ways, and learn in an environment that is positive and affirming is unlike any other.

For 29 years Kidventure has provided the chance for our kids to grow, learn, and be a part of something rewarding. The need for that opportunity to do so has never been greater.  Our kids need the chance to foster strong relationships.  Our kids need the opportunity to gain confidence. Our kids need to unplug - and plug into one another!  That chance will take place at Kidventure’s newest summer program, Camp St. Edward, located at 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd in Spring.

Join The Woodlands Township for the 12th annual Earth Day GreenUp on Saturday, March 25, 2023.  Team up with family and friends to target litter in parks and green spaces. Help keep our community beautiful while enjoying the outdoors. 

Online registration for Earth Day GreenUp will close at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023. Registration is encouraged, especially for groups, to ensure equipment for all participants. After March 20, walk-up registration will be welcome, although supplies are limited.

It’s time to celebrate spring time!  Bring the kids and dogs to North Shore Park (2505 Lake Woodlands Dr) on Saturday, April 15 for the Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Fun Run and Doggie Dash.

It will be a great morning planned for everyone in The Woodlands. Vendors, games, and finish line smiles are to be expected. Kids ages 0-17 can participate in the fun run; dogs must be at least 6 months old.  This is the inaugural year for the DOGGIE DASH.  A portion of the DOGGIE DASH event proceeds will be donated to Operations Pets Alive.

The Woodlands Township commissioned 16 new firefighters who have completed their training to become dedicated safety personnel in the community. The event took place on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at The Woodlands Township’s Town Hall facility.
