The Woodlands Township commissioned 16 new firefighters who have completed their training to become dedicated safety personnel in the community. The event took place on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at The Woodlands Township’s Town Hall facility.
Spring will be in full swing at north Houston’s City Place next month as March marks the launch of three, new reoccurring series– Pianos on the Plaza, Soccer Shots and Sound Bath Meditation – in addition to offering an array of regular programming, plus a week of spring break activations spotlighting the Texas Bubblers, Mad Science, Young Audiences of Houston Music Workshops and more. National Youth Theater (NYT) announces their upcoming productions of Seussical, a magical journey into the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss, and The Sound of Music, the world’s most beloved musical.
Immerse yourself in the world of all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. A fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza, Seussical will be sure to bring a smile to the faces of children of all ages!

But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.

The Woodlands Township’s annual Touch-A-Truck event will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands, TX 77389.
