The community is invited to attend the ceremony honoring the brave men and women who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Patriot Day of Remembrance will include a Presentation of Colors by The Woodlands Fire Department Honor Guard along with a reading of The Fireman’s Prayer and The Ringing of the Bell in honor of fallen firefighters. Limited parking is available onsite at Central Fire Station. The event will also be streamed live on The Woodlands Township Fire Department’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TheWoodlandsFireDepartment.

In addition, residents can join the Township for Concert in the Park featuring First Responders Day on Sunday, September 10, 2023, to honor and thank first responders for their continued to commitment to the community. Enjoy live music by Texas Sundown Band from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77381. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Food vendors will be onsite providing special offers for first responders.
