READ to the Dogs at South Regional Library in The Woodlands encourages children to practice their reading skills by reading to specially trained therapy dogs. Children who read 5 books to a dog receive a free book. This activity is provided through a partnership with Pets with a Mission.

This program is intended for children who are able to read independently or with minimal help. Children who are not yet reading are invited to enjoy books in the library with their caregiver.
