Fairy Day at The Woodlands Children's Museum
Saturday, June 24, 2023

Playtime and pixie dust come together at The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Thursday, June 22 and Saturday, June 24 for children and families to celebrate International Fairy Day. Parents are invited to bring their wee folk and dress as their favorite woodland creatures for a day full of magical fun!

On both days enjoy a meet-and-greet photo opportunity with Tinkerbell on stage at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Volunteers will assist children in creating enchanting wands in The Muse Art Bar and both days from 10am-2pm guests are invited to create their own fairy wings and participate in fairy-style face painting. On Saturday enjoy sensory play in the fairy flower bins and a special visit from Captain Hook who will pose for photos at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm.

On Thursday, June 22 at 11:00am and Saturday, June 24 at 11:00am & 1:00pm, visitors are invited to a special Storytime reading of Camilla the Cupcake Fairy by Tim Bugbird. In this delightfully illustrated book, the cupcake fairy is challenged by not being experienced in using her very first wand. However, by keeping at it with the help of her fairy friends, they create the perfect cupcake with their perfect friendship!
