Snow?! In TEXAS?! It's true! A nimbostratus cloud will descend upon Children's Museum Houston to transform our courtyard into a winter wonderland. Bring your mittens and expect to play in real snow.
December 26: Celebrating Kwanzaa - Learn all about Kwanzaa and how it is celebrated through visual arts and music!
December 27: Sweets and Treats - Let your creativity run wild at the Candy Workshop, where you'll build fantastical structures using an array of colorful candies and treats. Experience the art of Dragon's Beard Candy Making, where delicate strands of sugary goodness are spun before your very eyes.
December 29: Celebrate Hanukkah With Us! Free Family Night - Celebrate this beloved Jewish holiday with us! Experience special Hanukkah story times, as well as crafts such as dreidel silhouettes and more!
December 31:New Year's Noon Bash - It's time to say "GOODBYE, 2024!" and hello to a New Year! No need to stay up till midnight to celebrate the New Year. Children's Museum Houston welcomes you back to the city's longest-running New Year's Eve celebration just for kids. This end-of-year bash rings in the New Year at the stroke of noon with ball drops, just like Times Square! Catch live performances, and dance 'til the countdowns!
