The whole neighborhood dreams of a taste of Omu’s yummy stew, and she generously shares her meal with everyone until her pot is empty. This beautiful story, so fitting for the Thanksgiving season, provides a “recipe” for sharing and community with the secret ingredient of love.
Storybook Theatre at 11am Friday, November 29th presents “Totem Tale: A Tall Story from Alaska” by Deb Vanasse. It’s Native American Alaska Native Heritage Month. This modern folktale highlights a traditional native totem pole that magically comes to life and becomes free. However, when it’s almost dawn and the totem pole’s creatures need to take their places again, chaos erupts!
