Take a stroll back to Renaissance times as The Woodlands Township Arts in the Park presents Shakespeare in the Park. The event will feature a live theatre performance by Points North Theatre Company and The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra Brass and Percussion sections.
Activities include Renaissance-themed costume contests, children's arts and crafts, face painting, local vendors, strolling entertainment and much more. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, grab a bite to eat at the food trucks and end the evening with a free live performance of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” open to audiences of all ages.

- Zuniga School of Music - 2:30 p.m.
- Woodlands Woodwinds - 3 p.m.
- Odd Music Instrument Celebration - 3:30 p.m.
- Claude The Juggler - 4 p.m.
- Muse Mantra School of Music & Arts - 4:30 p.m.
- The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra Brass - 5 p.m.
- Costume Contests - 5:30 p.m.
- Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” by Points North Theatre Co. - 6 p.m.
Renaissance Costume Contest Information:
- There will be two Costume Contest categories: Youth (12 and under) and Adult (13 and older)
- Costume Contests will take place at 5:30 p.m.
- There will be a maximum of 25 participants per contest.
- Participants will receive a number in the Costume Contest Corral and wear it until the end of the contest.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top costume per contest (Youth and Adult).
- Costumes must be appropriately themed and family friendly. Please no Halloween costumes, or others that do not fit the Renaissance era.
