Storybook Theatre at 11am Friday, February 19th presents “The Empty Pot” by Demi. Long ago the Chinese Emperor needed to choose an heir to his throne. All the children in the kingdom are given a flower seed to plant and care for and bring to the Emperor in the spring. Ping, who loves growing flowers, is unable to get his seed to bloom and has to bring an empty pot to the Emperor. In the end, this little boy’s honesty makes a lasting impression on the ruler!
