Both Wednesday, Dec. 15th and Saturday, Dec. 18th, enjoy special holiday family time making memories and decorating individual gingerbread houses, while visiting with Mrs. Claus, creating lacing gingerbread men and delighting in Christmas storytime reading of “Gingerbread Christmas” by Jan Brett. Gingerbread Baby and his friend, Matti, have a great time with their gingerbread band at the Christmas Festival until the children smell the scent of gingerbread…time to run and hide! This tasty story, read by Mrs. Claus, fits in perfectly with the Gingerbread House Workshop. On Saturday, Dec. 18th enjoy an additional reading of “Gingerbread Mouse” by Katy Bratun. Mouse needs to find a new home after a tree branch falls and destroys her house. With some help from a visitor in a red suit, she finds the perfect place to live!
