Looking for some family fun? Second Saturday at Friends of Texas Wildlife is this Saturday, October 9. Come join us for some wild fun any time from 10 am to 2 pm. Explore our educational displays and touch tables, meet one or more of our non-releasable wildlife ambassador animals, and make a fun craft to take home.

New this month is our treasure trade table! Bring a cool or unique nature treasure to trade (a stone, shell, pine cone, insect exoskeleton, etc.) and choose a different treasure to take home with you. Weather permitting, we will be using our outdoor classroom space. However, should we need to move indoors, we would then kindly ask that masks be worn since many of our visitors are under the age of 12 and cannot be vaccinated.

Please note that Second Saturday is held at our Educational Building (which has a separate entrance and parking area), located at 29816 Dobbin Hufsmith Road, Magnolia.
