Editor's Review - Urban Air Trampoline & Adventure Park

If you’re on the hunt for something extraordinary, check out Urban Air Trampoline & Adventure Park located in Spring! We found ourselves celebrating my 7-year-old’s birthday here, and I was blown away with all the excitement they had in store for us! Of course, there were the wall-to-wall trampolines and a trampoline “runway” – similar to some other trampoline parks and with similar rules. But Urban Air is so much more than JUST a trampoline park.

There are the “TUBES”, a multi-level obstacle course playground for kids ages 9 and under with fun tunnels a ton of fun options for sliding, climbing, spinning, and more!  When my 3-year-old wasn’t bouncing on the regular trampoline, she spent her time at the tubes, and those alone were plenty to keep her occupied and content. Note: The facility has a trampoline jump zone for young kids ages 7 and under, but they’re not confined to this area. Participants of all ages, including the tots, are permitted to jump in the general jump areas as long as they follow the rules.

In addition to the tubes and the wall-to-wall trampolines, Urban Air offers a few other attractions you might expect to see at a typical trampoline park plus several attractions that were very pleasant surprises for me and my crew! There’s the trampoline-basketball combo called the Slam Dunk Zone, an Ultimate Dodgeball court, and a foam pit. These were large, spacious areas, and tons of fun, as you can imagine.

Now, I was NOT expecting the Warrior Obstacle Course, which was a mind-blower for my girls! This huge and super cool ball pit with several different challenging obstacle courses is something to come back for again and gain. The minimum age for this attraction is 6 years old, and my poor 3-year-old (though she had plenty of other fun activities to do) was soooo adamant about doing this course (it just looks beautiful, with all those thousands of white balls)! After I explained to her that she could do it when she’s six, she sat down for about thirty seconds and then popped up and asked “Mommy, am I six yet?” My pre-teen girls greatly enjoyed the challenge of the Warrior courses. They were tough (and fun) for me to do, too!

Another pleasant surprise at Urban Air was the Sky Walk “ropes course”. Have you ever done a ropes course? It’s where you’re harnessed in and you’re elevated at the ceiling level and you have to navigate your way through a mid-air course with ropes. Although our visit to Urban Air was 2.5 hours and we had the all-access pass, we still didn’t get to the ropes course. It was available, and there was no waiting time to participate, but that’s just how much fun stuff there is to do here!!

The crowning glory of Urban Air was, hands-down, the Sky Coaster! It’s a large circular zip line that was just amazing for my girls! We visited the park at opening time (3:00pm) on a Monday, and it happened to be a great time to visit, as few people were there, and we were the only ones using the Sky Coaster during the time. We literally enjoyed trip after trip after trip (more than 10 trips back-to-back), and we can’t wait to do it again!

Know before you go:

·         Outside food & drinks are not allowed, but there’s a full service café with real food (plus some junk food and ice cream too)! They even sell alcoholic beverages.

The 4-person Group Fun Pack is $58.99 and includes 2.5 hours off access to everything in the park including the Sky Coaster (which we rode over and over again)! The package also includes 4 Icees (or 4 Dippin Dots) and 4 bottled waters. This deal was a steal for our group!
