Pine Cove Park is open and you’ll love it!! We couldn’t find an address on this place, but I’ve included a map at the bottom of this post along with a few locating tips.
I’ve been anxiously waiting for over a year for the fence around this new park to come down, and finally – as of January 31, 2021, there’s no fence and the park it’s open! Harris County has made such wonderful use of this gem of a space located in the Augusta Pines area only a couple of minutes south of The Woodlands.
For the current season, YMCA Camp Cullen has created a weekend camp experience for families entitled Escape to the Woods, meant to allow guests to enjoy isolation and maintain as much social distancing as they prefer.
October afternoons are for adventures, and that’s certainly what we enjoyed this past Monday afternoon when my family of 6 visited The Good Vibe Farm in Tomball. If you appreciate friendly farm animals, visiting this lovely family estate - located just 25 minutes from The Woodlands - is something you must experience this autumn! We received a leisurely, organized tour of the grounds by the owner, Joei, and one of her sweet kiddos, and they were the most gracious, pleasant hosts we could have wanted! They were eager to share their knowledge (my 6 year old asked lots of questions) and made us feel so welcome! Here's a quick video; then read on below for even more details and photos:
The Woodlands Children’s Museum is open and ready for your family! Have you visited lately? Here are 9 reasons we LOVE the museum and why you think you will too.
1. Open play, yay!! There’s plenty to see and do at The Woodlands Children’s Museum – explore a large play house, shop the market, build with foam blocks, sit and listen to a story, and more!2. COVID-19 Cleanliness & Accommodations - The museum is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for two sessions each day (10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm), and open on Saturdays from 10am – noon. During the down time, the museum will be cleaned and sanitized thoroughly to ensure your family’s visit is comfortable and safe. The museum is implementing contactless temperature readings, hand sanitizer stations, and mask-wearing (for 10 and up).
