The largest parade between Houston and Dallas features fire engines, floats, marching bands, military units, and much more. It begins at 9:00 a.m., winding through The Woodlands Town Center and Market Street, with pre-parade entertainment starting at 8:00 a.m. in Market Street. Parade announcers, including Emcees located above the North Commons in Market Street will guide the event. A panel of Community Celebrity Parade Judges will select the best entries in ten award categories. This year’s theme, "Wings of Liberty: Celebrating the Bald Eagle," honors the Bald Eagle as the U.S. National Bird, symbolizing independence, strength, courage and patriotism.
The South Montgomery County Fourth of July Committee is proud to name Dr. Ann K. Snyder as the Grand Marshal of the parade. Dr. Snyder is well known throughout Montgomery and Harris Counties for her countless years of service to her community. She has received numerous honors and awards for her dedication and service. Dr. Snyder embodies the characteristics of strength, courage, and patriotism, making her the perfect choice to lead this year's parade.
