Grab your sunscreen and towels - splash season has begun! Spraygrounds in The Woodlands Township are open to the public March 1 to October 31 and are free to use from 8am-8pm daily. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes, snacks/drinks and a picnic blanket. Water shoes are also great for kids to prevent slipping. My kids also love basic plastic cups or buckets to fill up and splash with.
There are several spraygrounds located in The Woodlands under The Woodlands Township
- May Valley Park (western themed)
- Sawmill Park (fenced in)
- Shadowbend Park (fenced in, small slide, climb through tree)
- Timarron Park (generally shaded, next to open grassy area)
- Village Green at Creekside Village Shopping Center (pictured here)
Additional playgrounds in our area include:
- Market Street near Tommy Bahama
- Waterway Square near Cyclone Anaya's
During the regular pool season, Sawmill and Shadowbend are only accessible for free before and after pool hours. During pool hours a pool pass or daily fee is required. Rules and details on operations can be found here.
