It's a captivating story as Squirrel suspiciously ventures through the forest and tries to figure out what in the world happened to the missing leaf. Is there really a thief out there, or is something else afoot? Squirrel insists on getting to the bottom of things, as more and more leaves become "stolen."
The Leaf Thief is full of delightful illustrations and is a great exploration of change―both seasonal, and the anxiety that change sometimes causes. If you have a preschooler or tot, this is sure to be favorite read!
