If your family already enjoys Lowe’s free monthly kids building workshops, there’s even more reason to add them to your calendar this year. Lowe’s has expanded its popular kids programming with the launch of the MyLowe’s Rewards™ Kids Club, bringing new perks, digital features, and fun incentives for young builders.
The MyLowe’s Rewards Kids Club is a free add-on to a MyLowe’s Rewards account and is designed to make store visits more engaging for families. Kids can now earn digital badges for workshops and activities, while parents can track progress online through their account dashboard.
One especially fun (and WoodlandsMommy-approved) perk: a free organic lollipop during every store visit. Just stop by customer service and ask an associate.
Lowe’s is also rolling out member-only giveaway days, including a Free Member Week event on Saturday, January 10, starting at 10 a.m., where families can receive free MyLowe’s Money and kid-friendly giveaways while supplies last.

Monthly Workshops Kids Love
Lowe’s Kids Workshops continue to be held once a month, typically on the third Saturday, and are best suited for kids ages 4–11 with adult supervision. Workshops last about 30–45 minutes, and preregistration is required due to limited spots (usually at least 50 per store).
Kids still earn physical apron badges for each workshop they complete:
- 6 badges = Junior Builder
- 12 badges = Senior Builder (plus a free tool bag!)
Here’s a look at the upcoming 2026 workshop themes:
- Washing Machine Bank — Saturday, January 17 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
- Birdhouse — Saturday, February 21 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
- Lawn Mower — Saturday, March 21 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
- Terrarium — Saturday, April 18 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
- Garden Basket — Saturday, May 16 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
- Trophy Cup — Saturday, June 13 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
- Mini Toy Box — Saturday, July 11 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
An annual workshop calendar is available at Lowes.com/KidsClub, making it easy to plan ahead.
Looking Ahead to 2026 (and Beyond)
While physical badges remain required for Builder Recognition rewards through 2026, digital badges are laying the groundwork for the future. Starting in 2027, Lowe’s plans to introduce new and bigger prizes, and any digital badges earned in 2026 will count toward those upcoming rewards.
How to Join
Parents or guardians enrolled in MyLowe’s Rewards can create a Kids Profile for any child under 18, either through their account settings or when registering for a workshop online. Once registered, kids can start enjoying perks immediately.
If you’re looking for an easy, free way to add hands-on learning and family time to your routine, the Lowe’s Kids Club is a simple win. It’s less about errands and more about building skills, confidence, and memories together.
