Did you know there are over 400 billion LEGO bricks in the world? And every day another 125 million bricks are made! What do we do when our kids outgrow them, lose interest, or perhaps simply want to add to their collection?
I found the answer, and it’s right here in The Woodlands. Bricks & Minifigs, BAM for short - is now open serving communities in North Houston. (Although, at the Grand Opening there was at least one family who’d driven over from Austin!)
When I asked the owners, Abe & Jessica Hughes of Shenandoah, about the Bricks & Minifigs concept, it was easily described as; “Far beyond your typical toy aisle at the store.”
It’s so much more! Yes, they have the brand new-in-box sets you’d expect to find, but beyond that, BAM has literally tens of thousands of “bulk” LEGO pieces to choose from. The brightly lit cases show off hundreds of Minifigures from virtually every theme LEGO has created. The selection of pre-owned sets is a sight to see, almost a museum of sorts – with LEGO sets dating back to 1976. But it’s not a museum, it’s all for sale! From hard-to-find retired sets, to that ONE missing piece to complete your kiddo’s masterpiece, BAM has it all. Including a party room for your child’s next LEGO Themed Birthday Party!
As if that weren’t enough for any fan of LEGO, here’s the best part…. Do you have LEGO laying around the house? Bricks & Minifigs has a safe, simple, and easy way to exchange your LEGO for cash or in-store credit.
