When it comes to chowing down on donuts, Ringerz in Spring is a full experience! You can order your donut, then sit at the counter and watch as it’s custom-created with your personal choice of icing, toppings, and drizzle. It might not sound like a big deal, but kids enjoy make-your-own creations, so why not?
Additionally, the donut-making machine / conveyor belt is upfront and visible through the looking glass, so you get to sit and watch the donuts coming through the proofer, going through the fryer, and coming out to be glazed.
What I liked the most about the experience is how patient the employees were. Ringerz is a family-run company, and the workers were pleasant and patient as they crafted the donuts to my child’s specification. (You know children can sometimes take forever deciding out of just a few choices!) Also, the owner was very informative about the donut- making process, explaining everything and answering our questions with a genuine smile. They seem to really enjoy having us there!
Of course, donuts are delicious too, otherwise it wouldn’t be worth telling you about! Ringers donuts are yeast-raised with a cake-like consistency that makes them easier to handle when putting the desire‘s happening. In my mind, I was envisioning a glorious mess being made with the donuts and all the toppings, but everything held up perfectly as my daughter ate hers. She chose a chocolate and strawberry icing, topped with fruity pebbles and M&Ms, and no drizzle.
Ringerz also offers coffee, kolaches, Keto-friendly donuts, and breakfast sandwiches. The store is located at 2907 Rayford Road and is open from 6 AM to 12 PM daily.
