You're invited to join The Cynthia Woodlands Pavilion for a dazzling spectacle of sight and sound as Cirque de la Symphonie takes the Main Stage on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Jaw-dropping feats by the world’s greatest aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, balancers and jugglers pair with breathtaking music performed by the full Houston Symphony in this one-of-a-kind live concert event—perfect for the whole family! Sponsored by The Wortham Foundation, gates will open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. performance. Mezzanine and lawn seating are FREE. Reserved orchestra seats are available for $25 per ticket.
For more than 10 years, Cirque de la Symphonie has thrilled and bedazzled audiences as it fuses the magic of cirque and the soaring sounds of a full symphony orchestra. Artists include the most amazing veterans of exceptional cirque programs throughout the world and each artist's performance is professionally choreographed to classical masterpieces and popular contemporary music in collaboration with the maestro.
Pre-show activities kick off at 7 p.m. in the North Plaza where guests can enjoy fun photo opportunities, a professional acrobat performing memorable moves, a themed art project, The Pavilion Partners Instrument Petting Zoo and sponsor activations. To make the evening even sweeter, guests can enjoy a free ice cream treat in the North Plaza courtesy of Aramark (while supplies last).
