On the first Saturday of each month, most Home Depot stores offers FREE hands-on, in-store workshops designed for children ages 5 - 12. No registration is required, and kits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Simply show up any time between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and supervise your child as he builds the project of the month. Workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, and they instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. All kids get to keep their project, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin. Participants must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
