In honor of National Teacher Appreciation Month, Crayola Experience is launching a nationwide Teacher Annual Pass Program.
Teachers have been a core part of Crayola's heritage since 1903 when Alice Binney - schoolteacher and wife of co-founder Edwin - named the new crayons "Crayola."
"We believe creativity is an important part of childhood development, that it's a skill which can be taught, and that it must be experienced," said Connie Walker, Communications Manager for Crayola Experience. "Teachers are critical to our mission of helping to develop creatively alive kids."
Starting May 1, Crayola Experience is offering teachers a free annual pass good for any of Crayola Experience's five locations. The pass allows teachers to visit 365 days a year with no blackout dates. As an annual pass holder, teachers also receive 20% off admission tickets for family and friends, 20% off food and beverage purchases, 20% off merchandise, 10% off birthday parties, and special monthly offers. Teachers must show a valid teacher ID to qualify.
Regular admission to Crayola Experience Plano is $22.99 at the door or $19.99 online. Annual Passes are $29.99. Children 2 and under are free. For tickets and info go to CrayolaExperience.com/Plano.
