Get ready for the 22nd Annual Junior League Holiday Market - Merry & Bright! This year’s 2024 Holiday Market, chaired by Rosie Shepard and Amy Rogers, coincides with the 35th Anniversary Year of Junior League of The Woodlands, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s rich history of community impact. As always, this year's holiday event provides visitors with an alternative way to experience their holiday shopping – full of festive fun!
“The Junior League Holiday Market is a cherished tradition in our community, and this year, as we celebrate our 35th anniversary, the event takes on an even greater significance,” said Rachel Goodlad, President of Junior League of The Woodlands. “Our theme, Merry & Bright, not only reflects the joy of the holiday season but also embodies the spirit of togetherness and generosity that defines our League’s work.”
The Junior League Holiday Market has become an annual tradition. The event doesn’t just bring the community joy by allowing them to start the holiday shopping season early, but is also a major fundraiser for Junior League of The Woodlands, Inc. All proceeds from this event go directly back into the community to support women, children, and families in North Harris and Montgomery Counties.
“The Holiday Market is not just a shopping event; it’s an opportunity for our community to come together and support vital programs that address unmet needs in our schools and neighborhoods,” added Goodlad. “Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and community supporters, we can continue to expand initiatives like H.A.P.P.Y. (Healthy Appetites Promote Positive Youth), which is making a tangible difference in the lives of children across the region.”
Proceeds from this event enable JLTW to sustain and grow its signature programs, including the H.A.P.P.Y. initiative. With Texas having one of the nation's highest child food insecurity rates, the H.A.P.P.Y. program is more critical than ever. This year, Junior League of The Woodlands will be partnering with nearly 50 schools, providing weekly deliveries of backpacks filled with nutritious food to children in need.
Junior League of The Woodlands invites everyone to join for this unforgettable shopping experience, starting with an exclusive Preview Party on November 21 and the market running November 22-24 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Thursday, November 21, 2024: Preview Party 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Friday & Saturday, November 22 & 23, 2024: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 24, 2024: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
