City Place continues its commitment to world-class public art with the debut of Arc ZERO, from acclaimed Australian artist James Tapscott. The installation features two ethereal, interactive rings of light and mist—Eclipse and Nimbus—positioned on and along the waterfront. While Arc ZERO: Eclipse utilizes a semi-circular steel arc and fine mist to create a glowing, floating halo reflected in the "Cat’s Eye Pond," Arc ZERO: Nimbus rises 15 feet above a jetty, inviting visitors to physically walk through a portal of cooling vapor and shifting light. Curated by the Weingarten Art Group, these immersive works transform the elements of water and air into a luminous dialogue between nature and engineering.
