Storybook Theatre, Friday, March 6th at 11am presents “Music Is in Everything” by Ziggy Marley. In honor of Music in Our Schools Month, this book celebrates music by highlighting everything around us that makes music! This beautiful book was donated to the museum by The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in honor of Mrs. Mitchell’s 103rd birthday! 

Storybook Theatre, Friday, March 20th at 11am presents “Mr. Cornell’s DREAM BOXES” by Jeanette Winter. It’s Youth Art Month, and this is a story sure to inspire children to dream and create. This is the biography of Joseph Cornell, who built imaginary worlds and his dreams inside small wooden boxes. He especially loved to share his shadow boxes with children and encourage them to dream, too!

Storybook Theatre seamlessly integrates beloved childhood stories with engaging elements such as songs, rhymes, and fingerplays, fostering early literacy skills and enhancing language development in a dynamic and entertaining manner.
