All About Kittens
Talk to your child about kittens.
Some facts to mention: Kittens are
baby cats. They make the "meow"
sound, they have whiskers on their
face, they use their tongues to lick
their bodies clean.

Cat Scavenger Hunt
Help your toddler find all the cats
throughout the house. Look on
clothing, wall hangings, inside
books, etc. Instruct her to make the
"meow" sound and point whenever
a cat is spotted.

Do this Cat Paper Craft.

Sort Laundry: In two or three
laundry baskets, help your chld
"sort" laundry by color or type
(white t-shirts, baby's clothes, etc.)

Pocket Play: Hide toys and
"treasures" in the pockets of the
play laundry for your child to find.

It's Laundry Day
Let your child help you with the
laundry. Scoop dishwashing
detergent and let him help pour it
into the washing machine. He can
also help load the machine with
dirty clothes, put a fabric softener
sheet into the dryer and close the
dryer door, and help transfer dry
clothes to the place where you
place them folding. For fun,
attempt to teach him how to fold a
towel.

Three Little Kittens

Three little kittens,
They lost their mittens,
And they began to cry,
Oh mother  dear,
We sadly fear,
That we have lost our mittens.

What! Lost your mittens,
You naughty kittens!
Then you shall have no pie.
Mee-ow, mee-ow, mee-ow,
No, you shall have no pie.

The three little kittens
They found their mittens,
And they began to cry,
Oh, mother dear, see here, see here,
Our mittens we have found.

Put on your mittens,
You silly kittens,
And you shall have some pie.
Purr-r, purr-r, purr-r,
Oh, let us have some pie.

Three Kittens
Three little kittens standing in a row
They nod their heads to the children, so.
They run to the left, they run to the right,
They stand up and stretch in the bright
sunlight.
Along comes a dog who’s in for some fun,
M-e-o-w, see the kittens run.

Pussycat, Pussycat
Pussycat, pussycat, where have you been?
I've been to London to visit the Queen.
Pussycat, pussycat, what did you there?
I frightened a little mouse under her chair.
