Go Texan Texas Independence Day
Saturday, March 05, 2022, 11:00am - 01:00pm

Celebrate Go Texan Texas Independence Day Sat. March 5 10am-2pm. Don't miss photo opportunities with the Cowgirl on stilts from 11am to 1pm and saddle up for our Stick Pony Trail. Ride a stick pony around orange cones to a prize at the end of the trail. Enjoy a special Texan-themed art project in the MUSE.
Special Storytimes with Miss Jan at 10:30am and 12:30pm. Enjoy “T is for Texas” by Maria Kernahan. We’re celebrating everything Texas in this alphabetical journey highlighting the places and things that make it so special from armadillos to the “zig-zagging” river through Big Bend. At 11:30am Miss Jan will read “Mighty Big and Super Great: Texas Is the “Lone Star State”!” by Amber Manning. This is a fun and informative guide to Texas history, symbols, and landmarks in a rhyming, child-friendly style. #BookReading #StoryTime #ChildrensBook #Educate #Empower #Excite
