Woodlands Events Calendar

Kids of all ages are invited to The Woodlands Township’s annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands, TX 77389. This free, all-ages-friendly event offers the community an opportunity to touch, climb and interact with trucks and vehicles, play in a kid-friendly construction zone featuring a giant sandbox, and visit multiple vendors for crafts and games.

Vehicles of all shapes and sizes will be on site from The Woodlands Fire Department, Harris County Emergency Services, the Department of Homeland Security and much more. Drivers and operators will be on hand to educate, provide demonstrations and answer questions about the vehicles. A sensory hour will be observed from 9 to 10 a.m., which is ideal for infants or children sensitive to loud noises, such as horns.

Parking is located across the street at the Rob Fleming Aquatics Center and by the Lodge at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive. Additional parking is also available at Risen Church, 6262 Creekside Green Drive. 

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, Touch-A-Truck may be cancelled.
