DR. SEUSS’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Friday, March 1st at 11:00am Story book Theatre presents “What Pet Should I Get?” by Dr. Seuss. This Dr. Seuss treasure follows a brother and sister into a pet store as they try to make up their minds as to what pet to choose. It teaches the lesson that it’s hard to make decisions, but sometimes you just have to!

Then at 12:30pm enjoy “My Many Colored Days” and “I Can Read with My Eyes Shut!” by Dr. Seuss. “My Many Colored Days” with its vibrant illustrations explores moods and feelings through colors. “I Can Read with My Eyes Shut!” shows children all the amazing ways and terrific things they can read! One of Miss Jan’s favorite Dr. Seuss quotes comes from this book:
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

Storybook Theatre at 11am Friday, March 8th presents “There Was an Old Dragon Who Swallowed a Knight” by Penny Parker Klostermann. This is the funny, wacky tale of an old dragon in medieval times who just about swallows a whole kingdom. You’re guaranteed to get multiple giggles from this story!
