Kinsmen Lutheran Church will host its 14th annual “Run for Your Turkey” 5K/10K walk or run on Thanksgiving Day. The event steps off at 8 a.m. Thanksgiving Day from Kinsmen, winds through the tree-lined neighborhood of Greenwood Forest, then brings participants back to Kinsmen to cross the finish line. Registration is $40. Proceeds help fund the church’s Community Thanksgiving Feast later that day, which is free of charge and open to the entire community.

5k Fun Run, Dasher 10k and Cupid 1k starting at CITYCENTRE and running through the area neighborhoods while enjoying all the Christmas Decorations. All ages and runner speeds: runners, walkers, joggers, strollers welcome! Christmas costume contest, pictures with Santa Claus, special treats after the fun run including mimosas and much more. All registered athletes will receive a long sleeve shirt and medal. 1k Cupid Run starts at 7:40am followed by the 10k Dasher Run at 8am and Rudolph 5k Run at 8:05am.

Glow and Go 5K (Holiday Edition) will take place along The Woodlands Waterway beginning at 6 p.m.
Glow and Go 5K is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event. The chip-timed 5K course will incorporate the full length of the Waterway, providing a scenic route and fun, enjoyable atmosphere fostering friendly competition. The 5K race is open to runners of all abilities and recommended for participants ages 10 and older. Runners are encouraged to dress in their best holiday attire and glow!
