The longest running Earth Day event in the greater Houston region, The Woodlands Festival attracts more than 7,000 attendees each year. The festival offers eco-exploration and entertainment with a ‘street fair’ atmosphere. More than 70 booths and activities spotlight nature, eco-trends and resource conservation. Displays with live snakes, butterflies and tortoises provide hands-on experiences with wildlife. Other interactive exhibits highlight eco- solutions for home and garden. Electric vehicles, rainwater harvesting and green building organizations take a look at the future of resource conservation. Free face painting, games, crafts and activities will connect kids with the earth-friendly, conservation message. The festival stage feature a full day of free, family entertainment. Refreshments, native plants, cloth shopping bags, fair trade teas, coffee, chocolate and other earth-friendly products will be for sale from non-profit organizations and green businesses. your social media marketing partner
