Come Visit! Longview Greens Mini Golf Opens in Montomgery

Are you ready for some GOLF?! You’ll be pleased to know that Longview Greens Miniature Golfing, located in Montgomery, TX, opened its gates to the public on May 5th, 2017. The company focuses on providing guests ages 2 to 92 an opportunity to play a relaxing round of outdoor miniature golf in a Texas-themed, botanical setting. Nestled in the heart of downtown Montgomery, the mini golf business is neighbors with the historic shopping district, Memory Park and Fernland Historical Park, among others.

Guests can enjoy a round of mini golf while playing on greens such as a replica of the state of Texas and its grandest cities (the Dallas star, a Houston NASA space shuttle, a “weird” Austin guitar and the mighty San Antonio Alamo stands guard over the hole), a Texas highway (complete with armadillos tangling with trucks), a Texas Ranger hat green, a cowboy boot green, a green with the Texas Republic star at its center and ending their round on a green representing the Texas flag herself… all of this while enjoying native trees, flowers, waterfalls and streams in the background, adding to the ambiance.

The course is meant to be challenging, but not overwhelming, striking a balance between playability, competitiveness but most importantly, fun.  The course is set at a par of 48.

Appealing to children, couples – young and old, friends, family and co-workers, the course aims to entertain all ages.  The venue is also available for birthday parties and private events.

Owners Julie and Jason Long reside in Montgomery and manage the establishment.  “We wanted to give folks an outdoor activity that everyone can enjoy.  Whether it is date night, an opportunity for grandparents to enjoy a day with their grandchildren or a night out with the family, this is something for the community to enjoy.  We feel our course incorporates Texas themes and a challenging, but fun round of mini golf.  In today’s day and age, so many folks are fixated on their wireless devices for much of their entertainment.  Our hope is this course would give them a reason to unplug, for a little while, play a familiar and fun game of mini golf, all while enjoying their social interaction with friends and family.”

Bring your family out for a round soon! It’s sure to become one of our favorite things to do around here!
