Woodlands Pools & Spraygrounds
The Woodlands spraygrounds are now open for business! Spraygrounds, also known as splash pads, are a fun, free way to cool off and let the kids run around wild and crazy. As a mom, these are easily my favorite places to go when it's hot because I can relax - no chasing the kids, no hovering, no getting wet (for the most part!). All feature colorful and imaginative water amenities sure to get the kids squealing.
There are seven spraygrounds located at in The Woodlands:
They are open to the public March 1 to October 31 and are free to use from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. During the regular pool season, Sawmill and Shadowbend are only accessible for free before and after pool hours. During pool hours a pool pass or daily fee is required. Rules and details on operations can be found here.
There are a few other spraygrounds to try in the greater area:
Don't forget to bring sunscreen, towels, a change of clothes, snacks/drinks and a picnic blanket. Water shoes are also great for kids to prevent slipping. My kids also love basic plastic cups or buckets to fill up and splash with. your social media marketing partner
